The new Spring anime keeps coming in! For this meeting, we watched one of the most promising of the new shows, Valkyria Chronicles, which is an adaption of the Playstation 3 game of the same name. It seems to have started off strong.

For the next meeting, we’ll continue our exploration of the new shows available. If any of the new shows sparks your interest, tells us about it here, and maybe we’ll see it soon!

Valkyria Chronicles was good, but the story doesn't pick up for another few episodes. The anime is still only through the first four missions in the game, and the real core of the plot starts once they get to the Barious Desert.

Not sure if we'll be watching more Valkyria Chronicles, since there's lots of other good new anime we can check out too, but hopefully we'll replace Chaos;head with VC once Chaos;head finishes its run.
