Default Hello Everyone! Shado Here.

Well, here's a bit about myself. My name's Cris Colina. I've been into Anime since before I could remember. My first video game was Mario Bros. NES. I love to act, dance, draw, role play, sing, make music, hang out with all my friends, make new ones, cosplay, voice act, martial arts, and put together ShadoCon.

I'm really excited about putting together this con for all the amazing fans out there. Whether you're into Anime, Video Game, Sci-Fi, Comics, Manga, or just coming to meet new and interesting people. This Con will be a real treat.

If you want to know more about this con go check out

Welcome, Cris. Glad you stopped in.

ShadoCon sounds interesting. Is it the same hotel that Metrocon started at? If so, it's a nice hotel to have a convention. I'll likely be out of town that weekend, but good luck with the convention.

Will you have artist's alley tables, and if so, have you decided on a price? There's several club members that would likely be interested in buying a table.

Welcome, Shado-

Best of luck with the con. That's a huge amount of stuff to organize.

Yes it's a whole lot of organizing. I'm enjoying it so far.

We will be at the same hotel that Metro started off at.

Yes we will have plenty of Artist booths available, Alex Craddock will be running the Artist and dealers room, prices and spaces will be up shortly.

Yes, I would be curious about Artist Alley. Just tell me its not as expensive as at Metrocon You don't see many cons that late in the year so that could be good or bad. People may be saving up for Dec, but may also be looking for gifts.

Welcome! Good luck with the con! It looks like a replica of MetroCon...under a different name...with the same stuff...is this an attempt to fix that whole pedophile fiasco that MetroCon peep was involved in? O.o

Thanks for asking. Some people have been wondering about this, you see we have completely different shows than METROCON.

We have the Shado Tournament which is a tournament style fight show.

Then we have the Break-dance Break-down which is our break-dancing, comedy show.

Finally, we are bringing back the Final Fantasy Ball which ran in this hotel so many years ago.

We are indeed in association with METRO. In the fact that they are assisting us in some areas such as the dealers room, artist alley, and security but, this convention and it's events are new and we have our own spin on them.

Also, METROCON is still happening. It's under new management as well. "Team Dynamite Productions, LLC."

METRO is not about a single person but, in fact it's about everyone who attends it. Something as big as METROCON can not be taken down by one single persons actions. It's the community that keeps these conventions alive.
