Default TBA Lineup for 3/6/2010

So I took the helm of the club for the night while President Sharp and VP Kyoko enjoyed a Lightning game; they deserve a break every now and then . The world goes on, and while attendance was sparse, we still had a great time.

Here's the scoop on what we watched:

Durarara!! - Ep. 1
Valkyria Chronicles - Ep. 14-15
Nodame Cantabile: Finale - Ep. 4
Kimi ni Todoke - Ep. 5-6
Toaru Majutsu no Index - Ep. 1

AMVs:

Nikolakis - Empty Motion [download|watch]
ZetZu - More than Enough [download|watch]
Oro$hi - Redona [download|watch]

Please feel free to share your thoughts on tonight's lineup, including what you liked and want to see more of.

Thanks again go to everyone that joined us tonight, and I hope to see you all again at the 3/20 meeting.

I can see you don't want to have to give free cookies

The two new series sound interesting though I don't know much about them so I hope I can catch ep 2.

Drat I missed not one but two eps of Kimi, I'll have to go download those

Hope the Lightning game was good!

Well, Durarara!! looked interesting, which is saying a lot compared to most anime coming out nowadays. I'd be willing to watch a few more episodes before we commit to it.

As far as Index goes, it was just in there as an omake, but I guess if there's enough demand to continue watching it, maybe we will... ?

I enjoyed the meeting. Thanks to Mike for inviting me out. It was a good excuse to get out of the house and do something. I will probably start watching Durarara!! and Toaru Majutsu no Index. I would totally be into going to more of the meetings once I get a job and everything settled. Luckily anime is relatively free.

Thanks very much to Titan_X for taking over this meeting. Sharp and I really appreciate it. Now I've got some anime to catch up on!

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun actually came out last October. It's still airing in Japan, at least for another couple episodes.
