Default TBA Lineup for 4/4/09

Alright, alright. I get the point.

It's back! The regular meeting lineup has returned after a long hiatus. Several months have passed since this blog listed the shows we watched at the last Tampa Bay Anime meeting. Now, we set things right. This feature will be back every other week, so you can keep track and catch up, if you need to.

And what a perfect time to get back into gear! The new Spring anime season is starting up this week in Japan, so we'll be watching all kinds of new stuff in the coming weeks. Be sure to attend each meeting or follow along with us in the forums.

At the last meeting, we sent off another favorite anime, Potemayo. It's charm and humor will be sorely missed, but we'll do our best to replace with something the club will love.

And now, here's this week's lineup. It features several returning shows and one new one from the new anime season: K-ON!. Tell us what you thought about it in this thread.

Anime:
Kannagi #5
Chaos; HEAd #10
K-ON! #1
Toradora! #9-10
Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) #17-18

Anime Music Videos:
The Conspiracy of Law -AMV.org info - YouTube stream
Sometimes, It's About Me - AMV.org info
Radiance - AMV.org info

K-ON! was pretty fun. I wouldn't mind seeing more. Lots of decent prospects for anime out this spring.

From what I've seen:

Valkyria Chronicles - Pretty good. Can't wait for the story to really pick up. Then if it follows the game, it will be awesome!

Queen's Blade - Horrible. Don't watch it. Trust me on this.

Hatsukoi Limited - Watch the first episode. Not bad, but didn't really do much for me. I'll give it a miss.

Shangri-la - Not bad. Seems to take place in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo with a harsh caste system. Too bad it's licensed, but you can watch each episode as it comes out on Crunchyroll.

Tears to Tiara - Seems interesting. Haven't had a chance to sit down and watch the whole first episode but it seems interesting from what I've seen.

Anyone else?

only seen Saki (the mahjong anime) and have not shut up about it to Sharp. It's got a pretty high learning curve but that's probably because I know Tainwaese rules and they're playing Reichii rules. That being said, I really want to watch more. Saki keeps her score at a constant zero, which is essentially impossible irl. She has HUGE luck powers.

When did moe = Forrest Gump?
